LEAD EMPLOYEE TRAINING & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
I designed and delivered the inaugural Communications 101 employee training as part of Southern Research’s professional development program. The session introduced employees to new internal communication tools and demonstrated how to navigate the new employee intranet.
Building and launching a new employee intranet on Microsoft SharePoint was the largest undertaking I was responsible for during my time at SR! The purpose was to enhance the user-experience and make information easier to find, across the organization. The redesigned intranet quickly transformed from an underutilized resource into a go-to hub during its initial rollout—generating approximately 60,000 views and 300 unique viewers.
As part of a broader internal communications modernization, I partnered with IT to support the rollout of Microsoft 365 and helped establish five new internal communication channels, including digital displays in strategic locations across the seven-building campus. I managed the content for all channels, captured and edited photography for events, and produced communications that kept employees informed, engaged, and connected.
